Sunday 6th August was the last of our dates for East Court Live 2017
A mixture of performers covering genres of music to entertain all the family.
We are pleased to have InChoir performing for us again this year. Formed in 2009
”inChoir is open to anybody and everybody who wants to sing. We now have just over 1,000 members across 14 adult choirs in 12 locations. It doesn’t matter if you have never sung before, or if you’ve been singing for years; all are welcome! There is no audition, no need to read music or learn words, no need to sing solo or to perform. And your first session is free of charge, so you have nothing to lose!
Our focus is on having fun and on the enjoyment of singing! We teach and sing our own arrangements of popular uplifting songs in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We hold weekly flexible sessions both during the day and evening and operate a “pay as you go” option so there is no requirement to pay termly in advance unless you choose to do so.
Join the choir that sang with Russell Watson and Blake; the choir that sang at The Minack Theatre and at The Brighton Dome; the choir that travelled to Niagara Falls and Prague; the choir that recorded a charity single at Abbey Road Studio We provide many opportunities to perform both locally and further afield throughout the year often joining several branches of inChoir together and raising money for charity.
Coming to inChoir couldn’t be simpler call 01342 760078 to let us know you’re coming.”
Introducing a singer/ songwriter from East Grinstead
Joanne will perform a set of country/ folk numbers and is sure to be a great success. We are really looking forward to bringing her onto our stage.
Following on from Joanne will be another East grinstead favourite band;
A 5-piece band bringing you the sounds of the sixties.
If you lived through, or wish you had lived through that exciting time in pop music, you’ll love this band. All the hits are faithfully reproduced by a team of professionals whose musical experience playing these great songs spans four decades.
The Radiators are renowned for their ability to get people dancing so we will expect to see you all up at the front of the stage!
The all male line up is fronted by Rob McCarthy singing pop hits from Elvis, Cliff, The Stones, Manfreds, Van Morrison, Georgie Fame and many more including, of course, the ever-popular Beatles.
Rob’s versatile vocals faithfully evoke the excitement of the original artist’s performances.
Duck Soup will complete the lineup for the day and will entertain the crowds with a mixture of blues greats with soulful funky undertones.
Duck Soup was formed in 1990 by David Hay and Nigel Bagge.
Both lovers of blues flavoured music they were an ideal combination.
They quickly became known for their duelling guitars which features heavily during the show.
With Ed Collins adding excitement on drums and Grant Tunbridge holding it all together on bass this band is exceptional.
Think British blues legends plus John Hiatt, Ry Cooder and ZZ Top and that is Duck Soup!
